Statement

The purpose and interpretation of the Aquatic CBA Map is described in the NW Biodiversity Sector Plan document and technical report:

• North West Department of Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development (READ). (2015) North West Biodiversity Sector Plan. North West Provincial Government, Mahikeng. November 2015.

• Desmet, P.G and Schaller, R. (2015) North West Biodiversity Sector Plan Technical Report. North West Provincial Government, Mahikeng. November 2015.

The Aquatic CBA map layer was created by a union of ten input CBA map criteria layers (fields: CBA_W1 to 9). For the final CBA map display (field: CBA_Disp), each individual resultant polygon from the union was assigned the highest CBA category contained in the inputs.
