The map of high vegetation heterogeneity for the GCBC,was created through analysis of the SA Vegetation Map- Version 4. The SA Vegetation map was clipped to the Greater Cederberg Biodiversity Corridor planning domain boundary and was then converted to a 50m grid using ArcInfo. The 'vegetation type' field was used in the conversion. An analysis was then run to identify number of vegetation types
per 500m radius. Areas that contained 4 or more vegetation types were clipped from the the analysis layer.
