9 Class Land cover derived from NLC2000, with CDSM roads and rail lines buffered by 20m and added, CDSM in landwater classes added; GTI field data from Agric included. Degradation model developed by Phil Desmet; Degradation = area where the average (over 6 consecutive years) annual net primary production (aka NDVI) is significantly less (>1 Std. Dev.) than the median (not mean) value for the landclass/habitat unit. Based on the NDVI from MODIS data.
