Sand movement corridors were mapped from satellite images, and reflected in the SKEP vegetation map (see Section 7 in SKEP Technical report). Only functional sand movement corridors were included in the process layer. Sand movement corridors were considered functional if less than 50% of the area had been transformed by agriculture and urban development, and if no major road traversed them. Topology was checked.
