This was derived from the grid version of the KZN 2008 Land-cover Version 1 as produced by GeoTerraImage. This is a binary ArcView grid indicating areas transformed and untransformed (natural). The categories selected for transformed/untransformed are listed in the “How the 2008 V1 LC was reclassified” text file.

This was derived from the grid version of the KZN 2008 Land Cover Version 1[kznlcov108w31] as produced by GeoTerraImage - see 2008 KZN Province Land-Cover Mapping: Data Users Report and Metadata (version 1.0) for details of the production of the ArcView grid. The categories listed in “How the 2008 V1 LC was reclassified” text file, were re-classed to 0 (transformed), 1 (untransformed) and 2 (outside the province). Please note that the dataset does extend outside the KZN provincial boundary.
